  • 27 February 2006: SAS was formally registered as a society (ROS No: 2026/2006) with the Registry of Societies, Singapore.
    • 13 Oct 2006: SAS’ 1st Story Swop
    • 30 Aug–9 Sep 2006: SAS helped organise and execute the 1st Singapore International Storytelling Festival.
    • 14 May 2006: On Mothers’ Day, SAS publicly launched itself with Let’s Celebrate, a two-hour performance for families, featuring stories told by the committee members. We filled all 182 seats in the Asian Civilisations Museum Auditorium.

    • 23 May 2009 Silver and Gold: Precious Stories to Inspire Young and Old!. Long forgotten pearls of wisdom and ancient treasure lay waiting to be rediscovered by a new generation. This storytelling performance presented by the Storytelling Association (Singapore) will feature lively participative stories as well as quiet reflective ones, and is perfect for an evening of inter-generational bonding with families and friends of all ages.
    • 8 Mar 2009 Women’s Stories (Storytelling for Adults) The Substation Theatre. An evening of women’s stories told by women storytellers, in honour of all women on International Women’s Day. For women, and the men in their lives.

    • 7 & 8 Nov 2008: A Touch of Wisdom: Wise Tales from Around the World, Classroom 2, The Substation. A Touch of Wisdom is a performance primarily by participants from the Beyond Storytelling 101 intermediate storytelling workshop that was conducted during May–June 2008 by Verena Tay.

    • 23 Aug 2008: Meat of the Tongue: Seductive Stories at Suppertime. Dinner storytelling for adults featuring Chuah Ai Lin, Denise Bertrand and Kamini Ramachandran at The Hall, The Arts House.

    • 19 Jun 2008: Five SAS Ordinary and Associate members told stories to 300 children on SMRT’s ‘Tales on Trains’ event. They were Juriah Atan, Ignatius Ng, Heather Reutens, Rosemarie Somaiah and Helen Tan.
    • 16 May 2008: 6th Story Swap at The Substation Classrooms

    • 8 Mar 2008: Masak-Masak: A Potluck of Delectable Stories from Around the World, storytelling for children and adults at The Lab, Republic Cultural Centre, Republic Polytechnic. The afternoon programme was a special charity event for child beneficiaries of the Tan Chin Tuan Foundation. – The evening programme was open to the public. The 120-seater Lab was filled for both shows.
    • 22 Feb 2008: 5th Story Swap at The Substation Classrooms

    • 7 Sep 2007: SAS participated in SMRT/National Library Board’s Annual Tales on Trains event. Associate Members Jessie Goh and Dolly Leow as well as Ordinary Members Ignatius Ng and Jim Gan told stories to 280 children from Kembangan to Woodlands MRT Stations.
    • 1 May 2007: In the Merry Month of May: A Celebration of Storytelling, SAS’ 2nd annual storytelling performance event for families. Held at the Asian Civilisations Museum Auditorium; attended by 44 adults and 46 children.

    • 4, 11, 18 & 25 Mar 2007; 3.30–4 pm: Storytelling for Kids, as part of the NUS Arts Festival 2007. Each Sunday, 1 Ordinary Member paired up with 1 Associate Member to tell stories.
    • 27 Jan 2007:

    a) 1st SAS Annual General Meeting attended by 11 Ordinary Members, and observed by 13 Associate Members, 2 Friends and 1 Guest/Observer

    b) 2nd Story Swap attended by Ordinary and Associate Members and observed by Friends.
