Alice Bianchi-Clark
Alice is a multilingual storyteller (English, French, Italian, Spanish) with festival experience in Singapore, Malaysia and India. She loves to tap into her collection of props and fairytale costumes as well as to weave in elements of music, dance and puppetry to bring out the magic in the stories she tells. Alice enjoys working with pre-schoolers, special needs children, junior school children and teens. She performed in local and international schools, and at museums, libraries, hotels, community centres, malls, parks and zoos. While she much prefers being on site, Alice is confident delivering content online. She is comfortable leading workshops in storytelling techniques to enhance magical creative story experiences by adding music, rhythm, movement and improvising backdrops, props and puppets. She is a member of the Federation of Asian Storytellers (FEAST) and the Storytelling Association (Singapore).
Alice is also a freelance journalist, children’s educator, and writes short stories for reviews and anthologies for children, young adults, adults and storytellers. She is the picture book author of WINDOWS TO THE WORLD, Marshall Cavendish 2023; A SPOT OF KINDNESS, Marshall Cavendish 2024; and A GARDEN OF TREASURES, Marshall Cavendish 2024.
Italian by nationality, Alice has lived and worked in Rome, London, Paris, Beijing Hong Kong and Singapore. She studied Modern Chinese Studies and Chinese Commercial Law at Trinity Hall, Cambridge, and trained and worked in international law firms as a solicitor for a number of years.
She currently divides her time between Singapore and London.
