“Weave me a dream and tell me a story”

Through Louisa’s many years of international communication and raconteur work, storytelling became a powerful tool for her to entertain, engage, inspire and empower her audiences. She has given lively storytelling performances to children, teenagers and adults in New York and Singapore. She uses a host of puppets to complement her storytelling and a kamishibai stage to rekindle the art of Japanese street theatre and storytelling. As a storyteller, she uses her craft and talents to also motivate and establish corporate change.

She holds a Licentiate in both Speech & Drama and Public Speaking from The Guildhall School of Music & Drama, UK and a Licentiate in Speech & Drama from the London College of Music (UK). She was awarded Magna cum Laude for her BA (Theatre Arts) and went on to get her MA (Communications), both from New York.

She is the Founder of Periwinkle Communications (www.periwinklespeech.com) providing communication arts classes since 1994. She is also a member of National Storytelling Network, USA and Singapore Drama Educators Association. She enjoys working with all ages and corporate entities as well.
