STORY GEMS: RECOGNISING AND POLISHING YOUR PERSONAL STORIES

BY LISA EVANS

You have a lifetime of stories. Discover how to mine, refine and polish your story gems, so that you can create positive change by sharing your stories and enhancing your brand.

In this interactive session, you will discover how a simple personal story can be used to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

  • Why personal storytelling instantly connects and engages the audience.
  • What ingredients make a great story and how to find, sort and store your stories.
  • How to find the right story to fit any occasion.
  • Learn how to structure a story using a simple framework
  • How to embellish your story while remaining true to the core emotion
  • How to tell your story without memorising the content (story-showing not telling).

During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to discover new stories and share your stories with others in a safe and supportive story space.
